Greetings all! Since opening in 2001, Wellmount Student Village in Athlone has welcomed thousands of Irish and international students over the years. As well as catering for our many Irish students we provide comfortable, secure student accommodation to students from countries all around the world.

Located close to the Athlone Institute of Technology (AIT) and Athlone Town Centre, Wellmount is an ideal place for 1st Year to Final Year students to complete their studies within a warm, friendly multicultural environment.

Students have easy access to a range of local amenities including shops, restaurants, bus services, theatres, cinemas, clubs and bars, while AIT provides on-campus student health services. Wellmount has strong links to the AIT whose Student Union and International Office offers further support. Demand for rooms at Wellmount Village is high so early booking is advised.

Our apartments are bright, secure and comfortable comprising bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens and bathrooms. The apartment complex has its own launderette, seminar room, private free off-road car parking and bicycle stands.

Wellmount offers secure, comfortable, affordable apartments for students attending Athlone Institute of Technology (AIT). We have three and four-bedroom student apartments available to rent for the academic year.
